If you want to go beyond Program (or Auto) mode with your camera but are baffled by its controls, The Photographer’s Portable Field Guide is for you! It supports learning the technical details that enable you to create impressive photographs. This guide, developed initially from digital slides, was created for a class on photography that I taught in 2017. The goal was and is, in this third edition, to present the information clearly and to make it easily reviewed when a question arises. As a Magcloud booklet, it is accessible on a smartphone, pad, or computer, available anytime you want to review camera settings, filters, accessories, or even composition tips. Use it at home or in the field!
